This peninsula is often forgotten by visitors coming from Port-Miou and going to Port-Pin and En-Vau. Yet it has a unique atmosphere, with nature growing back over the many remains of an industrial past.

Getting here and regulations

Before heading out into the Calanques National Park, prepare your visit and read about good conduct and regulations here.

The peninsula is open to visitors all year round. The surrounding hills are also open except when closed due to fire danger.

A one-hour trail of moderate difficulty leaves from the blowhole and tours around the peninsula.

Getting here

From Cassis: Cacau peninsula is under one hour on foot from the town centre. Take the shuttle from Les Gorguettes free park-and-ride to Port-Miou, then continue on foot to Cacau peninsula.
